💚 My Real-Life Health Journey 💚

I want to share something very personal — how I journeyed through months and months of dealing with three weeks of heavy bleeding each month, and how I eventually found a way out of that exhausting cycle.

There was a time when I was truly desperate.

I was struggling with severe heavy bleeding that would last for 3 weeks due to hormonal imbalance and perimenopause, and it was seriously affecting my quality of life. On top of that, I was dealing with UTIs, hot flashes, mood swings, migraines, joint and body pain, brain fog, extreme fatigue, insomnia, high blood pressure and very low energy levels. Add anxiety, depression and panic attacks to that — I was even rushed to the ER many times and admitted to the hospital once because my panic attacks were manifesting physically.

My body was constantly stuck in fight-or-flight mode, with elevated stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, causing real physical symptoms.

I tried everything — both synthetic and natural supplements. Unfortunately, the synthetic ones caused side effects I couldn’t tolerate, and even after spending so much on natural alternatives, nothing stopped the heavy and prolonged bleeding nor the other things I was experiencing.

I was already preparing myself for another medical procedure to address my excessive bleeding, even though I’m considered a complex case. My immunologist warned me that I’m at high risk for multi-trigger hypersensitivity reactions, and so I was weighing the risks again with anesthesia. I experience life-threatening allergic reactions — full-body rashes and anaphylaxis (throat closure) — triggered by certain medications, stress, temperature changes, tight clothing, exercise, and more. Because of this, I carry an epinephrine kit with me every single day, ready to inject myself if my throat starts to close.

Honestly, I didn’t expect much. I was just desperate. But within just a few days — the bleeding stopped. Completely.
